Mehr zu VERTICAL DANCE
Vertical dance is practised while suspended, usually on the facades of houses, buildings, rocks or trees. Wearing a harness and connected to a rope, the body is orientated horizontally. The wall becomes the floor and new perspectives and movement possibilities are created. Everyday places become the setting for extraordinary encounters that challenge our understanding of space and movement.
In aerial (harness) dance, the rope is attached to the ceiling and the body connected to it can take off from the floor and fly through the space.
